All Leitz Recycle products are certified CO₂ neutral in cooperation with Climate Partner. All emissions caused by the production of the product are reduced as far as possible, the low remaining emissions are compensated in specific carbon reducing projects. All Leitz Recycle products are 100% recyclable. Products have been designed for disassembly – which means that the different material types, such as card, plastic or metal, can be easily separated and recycled where facilities are available. Products can be disassembled by hand using at most a pair of scissors or a screwdriver. The Lever Arch File includes an ingenious tool to aid the separation of the different material types.

Of course you would expect such an environmentally friendly range of products to also have environmentally friendly packaging and the Leitz Recycle range does not disappoint! Firstly, we have used as little packaging as possible but where packaging is needed we use either 100% recycled paper and board or 70% recycled plastic. Plastic packaging is light and efficient (only small amounts of material are needed) and this  high level of recycled content means resources are saved. In addition, all Leitz Recycle packaging can be easily recycled as no complex material mixes are used!
